Athena Transformations was founded to enable more projects to follow the Ecosystem principle.
Its founder, Andreas Schemm, has been active in the start-up scene since 2005. He has been part of quite a few interesting start-ups, helping to build them from the ground up. Those start-ups were mostly active in the tech and (video)gaming sector.
Starting with organizing his first eSport tournament at the age of 18 and leading a Videogaming Cafe, he transitioned into helping to grow LaserTag Germany into a nationwide brand with its own German Tournament League and leading a nationwide team of over 50 people as Co-CEO/COO, until he decided to found his first own company in 2016 - Project: Gateway VR Studios. There, they developed disruptive solutions for Virtual Reality, gaming and digital content in general. After an intensive R&D phase they managed to create a technology to embed ad spaces directly into various software (like a “digital billboard”) without interrupting the user experience – no pop-ups or interstitials. This was the first foray into the worlds of the promising technology of blockchain, mainly used to counter some of the problems plaguing digital advertising, which had not been done before.
Since 2021, we are advising multiple projects within the Web3 and Gaming space, focussing on Ecosystem Development, Worldwide/Remote Operations and Product Positioning. The sky is the limit - contact us with your project, we love to chat!
